Volunteer

If you are interested in supporting our mission, we encourage you to consider volunteering for the World Affairs Council.

We have many different ways for you to stay engaged with us. Throughout the year we have volunteer opportunities ranging from working at the registration table at various Community Program events to hosting an international delegate for dinner at your home.

Check out the volunteer opportunities below and contact the appropriate person.

If you have any questions or for more information, please contact Alyse Cato, Community Programs Coordinator.

Event Support

The World Affairs Council’s Community Program department hosts over 100 events per year, from large lectures with noted world leaders, to small receptions and Trivia events. Event support volunteers help at Council events with a wide variety of tasks including ushering, registration, and miscellaneous event tasks. For more information or to be added to the event support volunteer list, please contact Alyse Cato, Community Events Coordinator.

Home Hospitality

Home Hospitality provides a unique opportunity for World Affairs Council members to engage in conversations with emerging leaders from around the world. For more information, please click here or email Kristen Comer, Director, International Visitor Program.
