Michael MacIndoe
Michael is a Tennessee native with a passion for language and culture. He is currently working in immigration law, and is passionate about the immigrant community at large. Before moving to Seattle in 2017, he spent 27 months as a Community and Economic Development volunteer in Senegal by way of the U.S. Peace Corps. His work there included facilitating entrepreneurial trainings for youth and women’s groups.
Michael holds a B.S. in International Business and World Cultures from Tennessee Tech University, with a focus on Latin America. While at TTU, he was able to study aboard in the Dominican Republic where he developed a love for Bachata music and Dominican food. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Relations with a concentration on African Affairs. When he’s not studying or working, he can be found running, practicing Spanish and Wolof, and planning his next trip abroad.
