June 1st, 2021
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Department of State's Office of International Visitors has postponed in-person exchange programs until further notice. Virtual meetings will instead be arranged for the following programs:
Best Practices in Court Operations and Court Security: This virtual project will familiarize representatives of Ukraine's High Anticorruption Court (HAC) and the Court Security Service (CSS) with U.S. court operations and court security at the federal, state, and local levels.
Global Economic Cooperation: This virtual project will examine private sector and local, state, and federal government strategies for stimulating economic growth and will take a comprehensive look at ongoing efforts to reinvigorate the U.S. economy and to enhance the overall stability and strength of the international economic system.
Skills Building and Partnership Models - Fashion Ecosystems: This virtual IVLP activity for Senegalese participants from a November 2020 IVLP Virtual project will build on their previous contact with the Seattle-based Refugee Artisan Initiative who will present their organizational model to promote skills building and work opportunities for home-based, small batch manufacturing and engage participants in a dialogue of how such models could be useful in Senegal.
