Isabel Wilson
Isabel Wilson is a Junior at the University of Washington studying International Studies through the Jackson School. Since traveling to Guatemala in High School, Isabel has grown to love travel, visiting several nations in Latin America and Europe before she began University. She hopes to continue exploring the world and learning from those she meets through her internship on the Global Classroom team at the World Affairs Council. She is excited to share her love of global learning with the greater community of Puget Sound through her work.
Her interest in Latin American and Caribbean politics and history has motivated her studies in Spanish and her pursuit of Portuguese this upcoming fall. She hopes to one day study abroad and to do independent travel in order to further her language goals. In her future career, Isabel hopes to work in a setting which allows her to frequently use Spanish and Portuguese. As an avid reader, she has a goal to read a book in another language before she graduates.
