Rayan Atallah

Rayan Atallah joined the World Affairs Council in January 2022 as a Program Officer for the Global Leadership Exchange program. He holds a B.A. in International Affairs with a minor in business administration from Northeastern University. Though originally from Lebanon, Rayan has lived in eight different countries throughout his life. Among these eight is Egypt, where he witnessed the Egyptian Revolution first-hand in 2011. The way it affected his life and the lives of everyone there, cemented the importance of global exchange in Rayan's mind, fueling his passion for meaningful international dialogue and connection. Before joining the World Affairs Council, Rayan worked with nonprofit organizations in Boston and Belgrade, focusing on global outreach, event planning, nonviolent movements, the United Nations, and more. While he briefly worked in sales, Rayan learned to pair his global exposure with his interpersonal orientation, which he is excited to contribute to the World Affairs Council. Outside of work he is passionate about playing and listening to music, exploring both cities and nature, and health and fitness.
