Meet Our Fellow: Matt Lantz

Why did you join the Fellows program?

I wanted to connect with others in the Seattle area who had a passion for international issues and have private access to international decision makers.

What did you gain from the experience?

I met likeminded, thoughtful people with a wealth of background and knowledge who care about international relations.  I also learned a tremendous amount from the speakers.

What was a program highlight for you?

I loved hearing the background and justification of the Space Force.

What would you say to incoming applicants about the program?

The program provides great networking opportunities and connections you with knowledge insiders on interesting international topics.

Why is it worth staying engaged with the World Affairs Council?

Jackie and her team run a tight ship.  They get access to incredible speakers and facilitate strong discussions.  I feel connected to like minded people in Seattle.
