Julian Mydlil
Julian is pursuing a B.S in International Relations after extensive experience developing and managing strategies to engage the community, volunteers, and allied organizations for political campaigns from the local to federal levels. In large part due to his experiences in the political sphere and his travels to over a dozen countries in between campaigns, he was inspired to refocus his studies to international relations. Reflected in his coursework, research involvement, and work with refugees and immigrants at the International Rescue Committee, Julian is particularly interested in international migration policy. He is a dual citizen of the United States and Czechia, and in his free time, he enjoys hiking in the great Pacific Northwest outdoors, tasting loose leaf teas (especially from Taiwan), and reading histories and memoirs.
