Veronica Bronkema
Veronica Bronkema is a top executive with a history of board leadership and 25+ years of high-level roles in highly regulated environments such as government, insurance, and banking. Veronica is a Regional Administrator for the WA Department of Labor and Industries, the 7th largest Workers Compensation Insurance System in the U.S., Board Chair at WSECU, a $5-billion financial institution, and an advisor to the Women in Leadership Program at Central Washington University. Her past board experience includes Q-Cash Financial (Fintech successful exit), One Washington Financial (Venture fund focused on the Credit Union ecosystem) and Washington Aerospace Scholars Board Chair. Earlier in her career, Veronica rapidly climbed through the leadership ranks of the top wireless carrier in Mexico, America Movil/Telcel Wireless. She led state operations, and a $30 million P&L. Prior roles include commercial sales and dealer network development. Veronica holds an MA in Public Administration from the University of Washington, a BA in Marketing Management from the Universidad Juarez Autónoma de Tabasco and certifications in Public Policy, Negotiation and Leadership from Harvard University. Veronica enjoys spending time on the golf course with family and friends as well as mentoring young professionals with emphasis on underserved communities. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian and is currently learning French.
