Stacey Hutchison
Stacey is a global policy leader with fourteen years of experience at the intersection of global affairs and technology policy. She is currently the Director of Global Content Policy at Audible, where she leads worldwide content policy development and implementation for the world's largest catalog of audio entertainment. Prior to her time at Audible, Stacey spent eight years working on Middle East and south-central Asia policy and operations for the U.S. Department of State, with a focus on interagency collaboration. She then joined Amazon, diving into the world of technology policy and content moderation at Alexa. After developing policy governing emerging AR/VR technology at Meta, Stacey built a worldwide content policy program at Audible, focusing on balancing regulatory and business requirements while supporting the industry's diverse creative communities. She has developed and implemented company policy and standards on a broad range of issues including artificial intelligence, and she has a passion for ethical and globally focused technology policies. Stacey volunteers to serve on the Seattle Center Advisory Commission in her spare time, which advises Seattle Center staff, the Mayor, and the City Council on policy matters that affect Seattle Center. A native of the east coast now living in Seattle, she also spends time exploring PNW hiking trails, checking out local restaurants, and skiing badly.
