Melissa Melgar

Melissa Melgar is a graduate from California State University, Bakersfield with a Bachelors in Political Science-International Relations and a minor in Business Administration. In her role as Vice President for CSUB’s Global Affairs Club, Melissa was passionate about exposing her community members to international issues and diverse cultures while preparing delegates for a Model United Nations event. Additionally, she had the opportunity to spend a year in Sweden where she participated in a study exchange at Uppsala University, learned Swedish, and coordinated the 2015 Uppsala Model United Nations conference.

Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration at Seattle University. With her passion and career interest in global affairs and non-profit management, she is thrilled to be a part of the International Visitor Program. In her free time, she enjoys working out, exploring the outdoors, reading, and spending time with family.
