Kristina Thorne
As the Senior Project Officer for the office of the Chief Strategy Officer and President, Global Policy & Advocacy, Kristi oversees key functions of the Foundation Strategy Office and Global Policy & Advocacy divisions. Drawing on more than a decade of experience at the foundation, Kristi she manages the strategic leadership plan of the President and CSO, including annual prioritization and execution of his internal time, travel, and use of voice. She oversees the division’s relationships with operational partners, such as facilities, IT, and security. In addition, she manages special projects, grants, and contracts on behalf of the President and CSO, such as the foundation’s relationship with the World Economic Forum, which often have broad implications across the organization.
A Washington state native, Kristi grew up in Spokane and earned the Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Puget Sound and the MBA at Seattle University. She spends her time outside of the office biking, backpacking, and traveling with her friends and family, and is committed to advancing the strength of the Pacific Northwest community and stewardship of our natural environment.
