Mahika Rangnekar
Mahika Rangnekar is a San Francisco Bay Area native who made the super long journey to Seattle to pursue an MPA and MPH at the University of Washington. She bravely fought the deadly "Seattle freeze" and found a group of people that have to hang out with her (thanks, YPIN!). Mahika is interested in health systems strengthening through policy development, as well as anti-racism and gender advocacy. Her most recent project took her to Peru's Sacred Valley, where she worked with community health workers living in remote Andean villages. She is in her final year of graduate school and relishes in any and every opportunity to ditch homework (YPIN Trivia Night, anyone?). Mahika loves to read, write about reading, practice Aikido, play D&D and board/video games, and of course, travel.
