Global Economic Cooperation II: 7 visitors from around the world will visit Seattle to examine international economic cooperation in the context of the growth and integration of emerging markets into the world economy. They will also explore how the global economy affects local businesses and communities.

Sustainable Eco-Tourism in the United States: 6 visitors from China will visit Seattle  to examine concepts of sustainable and responsible tourism and the role of small businesses in the tourism industry.

Resilient Cities: Strengthening Minority Gender Communities: 12 visitors from around the world will visit Seattle to explore equal access to educational, economic, and healthcare opportunities for citizens with diverse gender identities and sexual orientations.

Sustainable Ecotourism: 5 visitors for Indonesia will visit Seattle to assess the link between tourism and economic development and to explore ecotourism standards and practices, including strategies and policies to promote ecotourism.

Human Resources Technology and Evaluation: 6 visitors from Japan will visit Seattle to understand how leading U.S. businesses reflect women’s empowerment in their HR practices and systems and to discuss optimal ways to create performance review evaluations that are fair for all employees, free of unconscious bias, and that help support a diverse workforce.  

African Women’s Entrepreneurship Program: 9 visitors from Africa will visit Seattle to examine the role the Africa Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) plays in encouraging U.S.-African exports from Department of State, Congressional, and private sector perspectives, as well as highlight the contributions of women to local economies and technology development.

Trafficking in Persons: 7 visitors from Qatar will visit Seattle to examine the roles of the various agencies involved in combating TIP (trafficking in persons) and how they work together and independently at the local, state, and national level.
