Alicia Vermaele
Alicia Vermaele is a senior manager on the Starbucks Global Social Impact team. In her role, she supports Starbucks markets outside of the U.S. on the strategy and implementation of their social impact initiatives. Alicia also lead Starbucks global campaign to hire 10,000 refugees by 2022. Prior to relocating to Seattle, Alicia was a Deputy Director at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) where she planned and implemented CGI Latin America and CGI Middle East & Africa, convenings that engaged leaders from the private, public, and civil society sectors to enable social change. She holds a master’s degree from Columbia University and lives in West Seattle with her husband Dan and their daughter Chloe.
