Maddi Warnock
Maddi Warnock is a junior undergraduate student at the University of Washington majoring in Political Science and Communication. Her focus is on human rights, international law, and conflict transformation. Maddi believes in serving the community, and is a volunteer with Neighborhood Legal Clinics, a service that makes legal assistance accessible to everyone. She is excited to be an intern with the Global Classroom Program because of her interest in international affairs and her belief that everyone should be a global citizen. Throughout her internship, Maddi hopes to learn more about community outreach and the organization of a nonprofit.
She recently had the opportunity to go abroad and traveled to Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and South Korea studying human rights abuses and their global implications. After graduating, Maddi hopes to attend law school and focus on international law in the non-profit sector. For fun she enjoys reading, exploring Seattle, and attending food festivals.
