About the Speaker
Anatoly Ivanovich Antonov was appointed Ambassador to the United States in September 2017. He was previously the Deputy Foreign Minister and served in numerous positions in the Russian government over course of his career, including Deputy Defense Minister and Director of the Department of Security and Disarmament in the Foreign Ministry. He graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations and earned a doctorate in political science from the Institute of World Economy and International Relations in Moscow.
