Craig Pacheco
Craig graduated with a degree in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis in 2006, where he also studied Spanish and Russian language and literature. He spent 2005-2006 in Barcelona, Spain, where he studied International Economics at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and took an interest in the historical winemaking traditions of Catalunya. After university, Craig joined Diageo, the world’s largest drinks company, as a senior financial analyst and spent the next five years in the beverage industry before enrolling as a law student at New York University, where he was a scholar in the Mitchell Jacobson Leadership in Law and Business Program. Craig was a member of the first NYU Law team to qualify for the Left Bank Bordeaux Cup, and after earning a J.D. in 2015, he has grown his passion for wine and business as a corporate lawyer focusing on mergers, acquisitions and regulatory matters in the beverage industry. He is currently an associate with Stoel Rives, LLP in Seattle, where he is proud to work with a best-in-class team of alcohol beverage lawyers.
