Founded in 2015 by designer Idania Del Rio, Clandestina is Cuba's first clothing brand, and a unique collective of designers, artists, and creators. All the products are designed by a team of artists based in Old Havana, sourced from whatever they can find, made wherever they need to make them, and brought to you however they can.
All of their products are designed in Havana and made in the US, because they don't have much choice. Manufacturing in Cuba and shipping abroad is nearly impossible. Navigating through intense US and Cuban import/export regulations and abiding by high tariffs made their heads spin. Instead, they resolved and found a way. All their products on this site are sustainable sourced, printed by their partners in Columbia, SC, and shipped all over the world.
