Koren Bell

Koren manages the Strategic Planning & Engagement team within the Office of the CEO at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. The team guides the development and execution of the leadership’s schedule and activities on behalf of the foundation. Before joining the Gates Foundation in March 2007, Koren served as the scheduler for Congressman Rahm Emanuel from 2004-2007. Prior to working on Capitol Hill, she was the Communications Specialist for James Lee Witt Associates and a member of the Public Affairs Team at Ogilvy Public Relations. Koren is a Pacific Northwest native and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Whitman College.
