Join the World Affairs Council Seattle, The World Affairs Council of Northern California, and HBO for an exclusive advance screening of the HBO documentary film “Agents of Chaos,” directed by Emmy® and Academy Award winner Alex Gibney. The two-part documentary is a product of years of reporting on Russian interference in the 2016 election. Access to key information and players in Russia and the United States let Gibney dig deep into sophisticated plans to undermine American democracy. It will include never-before-seen footage inside Russian troll farms and explore how key players in the United States deliberately or unwittingly furthered Putin’s goals. The World Affairs Council of Seattle will follow up on 2020 election security with a virtual discussion with former Director of National Intelligence GEN Jim Clapper on October 14.
The timeline for this program is as follows:
Monday, September 21: You will receive an email from Screeners.com in the morning with a unique screening link to view part 1 of “Agents of Chaos” at your own leisure. The link will be valid until Friday, September 25.
Tuesday, September 22: A live discussion with Alex Gibney and Jacqueline Miller, president and CEO of the World Affairs Council of Seattle, at 5:00-6:00pm PDT. The link to join this discussion will be sent on Tuesday morning. After the discussion, part 2 of the documentary will be loaded onto your queue, you will be able to access it using the same link that was sent to you on Monday to view part 1. You will be able to access the documentary through Friday, September 25.
