As we enter into Women's History Month, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Discovery Center & World Affairs Council - Seattle’s Global Classroom are thrilled to present our 2022 Annual Educator Workshop,
“Empowerment & Gender Equality in the Classroom.”
Supplementing the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Discovery Center’s COVID-19 exhibition, and in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Number 5: Gender Equality & Women’s Empowerment, this workshop will center empowerment and gender equality through storytelling, data, conversation, and action.
The workshop will include powerful stories featured in the Discovery Center's Enduring COVID-19: Stories from our Transforming World online exhibit, a panel discussion, breakout groups discussing the intersectionality of gender equality related to the impact COVID-19, and more.
