About the Speaker
David Ballif is a Foreign Service Officer at the United State Agency for International Development where he works in the Crisis, Stabilization and Governance specialization. He came to USAID from Booz Allen Hamilton where he managed the Security Cooperation Monitoring and Evaluation portfolio for the United States Air and Space Forces. Previously, he served in a variety of roles promoting good governance and institutional capacity building for the U.S. Department of Defense and the international affiliate of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. He also worked for several years at the family-run Grocery Outlet in Mount Vernon, Washington and as an English teacher in Colombia and Libya. David holds an MA in International Affairs from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University, a BA from Prairie College, and an AA from Skagit Valley College.
