Postponed: Pints & Policy with the EU
July 18th, 2022 6:00PM -8:30PM
NOTE: THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
The strength of transatlantic relations depends on each new generation rededicating themselves to the bonds that have built the world’s greatest alliance for peace and prosperity.
Join our friends at the EU for the Seattle Edition of their popular Pints & Policy networking series which will feature an in-depth discussion on the importance of the EU-U.S. relationship while enjoying European drinks and snacks. Some of the key themes that will be explored include EU-U.S. trade, investment, and the Trade and Technology Council.
The EU and the U.S. trade and invest with each other more than they do with any other country or region, and this long-standing trade and investment partnership creates millions of jobs in the U.S. and Europe. The U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC) established in June 2021, serves as a forum for the EU and the U.S. to coordinate approaches to address key trade and technology issues, and to deepen transatlantic cooperation in this realm based on shared democratic values. The TTC aims to demonstrate to the world how democratic and market-oriented approaches to trade, technology, and innovation can improve the lives of our citizens and be a force for greater prosperity.
