About the Speaker
Samantha Power is a Professor of Practice at Harvard Kennedy School and Harvard Law School. From 2009 to 2017, she served in the Obama administration. She was Special Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Multilateral Affairs and Human Rights from 2009-2013 and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations from 2013-2017. She is the author of the Pulitzer Prize-winning book A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide, as well as the bestselling Chasing the Flame: Sergio Viera de Mello and the Fight to Save the World.
