YPIN Global Leader Dinner with Congressman Jim McDermott
February 17th, 2016
The World Affairs Council’s Young Professionals International Network (YPIN) invites you to attend an intimate dinner with Congressman Jim McDermott (WA-7) on Wednesday, February 17th. Dinner participants will have the exclusive opportunity to engage our guest of honor in a discussion on issues of local, national, and international importance and hear insights from his congressional career.
Congressman Jim McDermott is a senior member of the House Ways and Means Committee. During his time in Congress, he has worked to aid society’s most vulnerable populations – foster children, low-income individuals and families, unemployed Americans, and those confronting major illness or disability.
Throughout his congressional career, Congressman McDermott has been a fierce advocate for the interests of the greater Seattle region. Flying back to Seattle nearly every weekend of the year, he remains deeply involved in the community and maintains close connections with the people he represents.
Space is limited for this exclusive event, so register now! Please register by February 14th as we need a final head count for Bell + Whete.
Please note: Registration includes dinner. Alcoholic beverages must be purchased separately. Alternate menu choices will be available for dietary restrictions.
