Aaron Berman
Aaron Berman has worked on the impact of mass communications on security and democracy for almost two decades as an intelligence analyst, manager, and policy leader. He currently leads a team managing misinformation policies at Facebook, with a focus on fact-checking policies. Previously at the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency, he wrote and oversaw intelligence analysis to enable U.S. Presidents and senior officials to make critical decisions on national security threats, focused on influence operations, strategic communications, social movements, and terrorism. He began his career as a software engineer, and has a Masters in Public Policy from Georgetown and BA from Williams College in computer science and music. He lives in Seattle with his wife, two daughters, a chow chow, and a piano.
