Uwa Airhiavbere
Uwa Airhiavbere is the Chief Commercial Officer of Microsoft's Worldwide Energy & Resources Industry group. In this role, he is responsible for Microsoft's end-to-end commercial strategy in the energy industry. He oversees high impact growth initiatives and partnerships that help energy operators on their path to Net Zero. Uwa also has additional responsibilities as Microsoft's oil & gas and mining practice leader.
Prior to Microsoft, Uwa held several positions at General Electric (GE) where he had a successful nine-year career within the Oil & Gas Division.
Uwa earned an Executive MBA from Cornell University and a Master of Arts in International Relations at Johns Hopkins University, School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), with concentrations in International Economics & Energy Policy. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics, with honors, from Brown University.
