Alyson Paris
Alyson is an Oregon native that has recently moved back to the Pacific Northwest after spending over a decade exploring new places. A graduate of Tulane University, Alyson studied Global and Community Health in her Bachelor of Public Health program and Global Social Work in her Graduate Social Work Program. She has dedicated years of service to organizations including AmeriCorps, Global Health Corps, and Peace Corps Response focusing on social justice, community development, youth leadership, and anti-racist organizing. Working at the intersection of Public Health and Social Work, she has focused on equitable and participatory access to care in homeless services, youth development programs, and healthcare delivery with innovative programs. After working with Governmental Ministries and INGOs in Liberia, Ghana, and Haiti, Alyson is currently focused on increasing access to mental health care for youth and families in Snoqualmie Valley in East King County. When not working, Alyson and her spouse enjoy hiking, setting up playdates for their dog, and searching for places where they can get New Orleans, Kansas City and West African food.
