Amodini Khade
Amodini grew up in India before coming to Seattle to pursue International Studies at the University of Washington. Amodini is a graduating senior and focuses on China in the International studies program. She traveled to China and Taiwan in 2018 to study business ecosystems of technology companies like JD.com and is fascinated by the intersection of technology, business and social sciences. She has been actively involved in learning about the startup space in Seattle, especially through her leadership at Startup UW- a Resident Student Organisation at UW. She continues to explore emerging trends in technology, and hopes to work in the technology policy area after graduation.
Amodini’s passion for fostering international dialogue stems from her involvement with FIUTS (Foundation for International Understanding Through Students) where she acted as a Student Ambassador for two U.S. Department of State Study of the U.S. Institute (SUSI) programs. She believes that diverse perspectives are crucial in creating inclusive technology and wants to continue contributing to global citizen understanding through her internship with the International Visitor Program team.
