Brenda Valencia Flores

Brenda is a senior at Seattle Pacific University double majoring in Development Economics and Political Science with a concentration in International Affairs. As an international student from Peru, she realized the importance of fair policy and economic regulations in her community while maintaining a sustainable relationship with the environment. After graduation, she will pursue a Ph.D. in Economics with hopes to work with international non-governmental organizations in the future.

Brenda is passionate to learn and work for developing communities in Latin America and Southeast Asia. She is excited to be working with the World Affairs Council as a communications and development intern to continue learning and supporting the international community while bringing these conversations to our local area.
