Cabrelle Abel
Cabrelle Abel is an Assistant General Counsel at Microsoft, where she is currently leading the integration of the former Nuance health and enterprise commercial attorneys and deal work into Microsoft as well as managing the legal team supporting the engineering teams that build for and innovate with Microsoft's customers. She is responsible for ensuring compliance, privacy, and business alignment across various projects and engagements. Just prior to her current role, Cabrelle spent almost four years as the lead attorney for the Worldwide Deal Desk, where she helped manage Microsoft’s largest and most complex commercial licensing deals around the world. Cabrelle first joined Microsoft in June of 2013 as a product attorney for the online advertising business, where she primarily focused on privacy and business development deals, then went on to have various roles in CELA Commercial. Prior to that Cabrelle was a generalist attorney for drugstore.com, inc., a small eCommerce company acquired by Walgreens. She began her career as a litigator at K&L Gates. Cabrelle received her undergraduate degree from the University of Puget Sound and received her Juris Doctorate from Seattle University School of Law.
