Corrie Burdett
Formerly Executive Director, Nicaraguan Education Resource Center
At Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP), Corrie supports current (and future) systems, processes, procedures, tools and policies to ensure HIP runs effectively and efficiently in order for the organization to meet its programmatic goals in the US and Latin America.
Corrie brings 12+ years of professional experience in nonprofit management, fundraising, operations, strategic planning, human resources, program and project management, and building and leading teams. Prior to joining Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP), Corrie served as an Executive Director of a non-profit organization based in Nicaragua. She loves all things people and operations - building, refining, and connecting the day to day systems, processes, and procedures to the bigger picture while supporting people to do what they do best.
When not working, Corrie enjoys reading, running, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. A long hike on a sunny day with her two energetic pups followed by a delicious meal with people she loves is a perfect day.
