David Echodu
David is the founder and executive partner of a number of non-profit and for-profit entities involved in economic development, public health, education, and policy. Some of David’s involvement includes his work as the Founder of Pilgrim Africa, an organization that focuses on public health and education; the Council for African Policy; and Earthwise ventures, which seeks to restore the ferry system in Lake Victoria, East Africa. David is also involved with Tango, a consulting firm that works on research, policy, and advocacy in East and Central Africa.
Through the above institutions, David has gained firsthand experience working with the governments of numerous East and Central African countries as well as American and European partners including the Global Fund, President’s Malaria Initiative with USAID, European Union, DFID, DANIDA, and Gates Foundation.
