Dylan Plung
Dylan graduated from the University of Washington Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies with a MA in International Studies, Stanford’s Inter-University Center (IUC) for Japanese Language Studies in Yokohama, and Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a BA in Asian Studies. He has published multiple peer reviewed articles on historic U.S.-Japan relations and World War II military history, and is currently working on a book about Japanese society in World War II and postwar Japan. He currently works at the National Bureau of Asian Research (NBR) with their fellowship and publications teams. He is passionate about international affairs, Japanese history, and exploring Seattle’s breweries.
