Jennifer Lee Hoffman
Jennifer Hoffman, is a professor in the College of Education and Center for Leadership in Athletics at the University of Washington. Her global interests and experiences are in sports diplomacy and gender and women's leadership development in sport. More recently her research focuses on local and global immigration, labor, entrepreneurship, and economic development issues related to large scale sports events and athlete labor. She is the author of two books on college sports and teaches courses on the place of sports in higher education, college esports, and college sports leadership. She has participated in several exchange programs and presented talks around the world, including, the U.S., Canada, Japan, Israel, North Macedonia, and Saudi Arabia on topics of leadership, gender equity, and sport. A long time PNW resident, she earned her bachelor's degree at Washington State University, master's degree from Seattle University, and doctoral degree at the University of Washington. She has walked Spain's Camino de Santiago and hopes to climb Mt. Rainier one day.
