Jennifer Leff

Jen was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, but moved to Washington, DC after earning a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies to start a career in grants, awards and contracts management. Jen planned international exchange programs at Meridian International Center for emerging foreign leaders in a variety of fields before joining National Geographic Society to support their first-ever mentorship program to arm mentees with the tools and skills to story tell, pitch and advance their careers. Between 2018-2020, Jen was a Program Manager at Chemonics International supporting contract compliance and client relations for the U.S. Agency for International Development's $9.5 billion contract across 36 countries. Jen joined Starbucks in December 2020 to support Starbucks' global markets unlock social impact opportunities through philanthropic initiatives. She also manages The Starbucks Foundation's grants portfolio to empower women and girls in coffee, tea and cocoa communities through nonprofit partnerships. Jen relocated to Seattle, WA in June 2021 and looks forward to exploring all that the PNW has to offer!
