Joan Houser
Joan Houser graduated with Honors from Western Washington University with a BA in English with a creative writing emphasis and a minor in environmental studies. Her semester abroad at the University of Nottingham in England and subsequent travels throughout Europe inspired a passion for cross-cultural communication. In the future, she plans to teach English as a second language and visit as many different countries as she possibly can. She adores languages, and works part-time at the Academy of Languages Translation and Interpretation Services as an Assistant Interpreter Coordinator. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, playing Dungeons and Dragons, and attempting to convince her cat that cuddling is actually a lot of fun.
