Karuna Ramakrishnan
Karuna Ramakrishnan currently works as a Public Policy Manager at Amazon. Prior to this, she worked for nearly a decade at the World Bank in Washington DC and Singapore, advising governments in East Asia, Africa and South Asia, in countries as diverse as Afghanistan and Myanmar to Malaysia and Singapore. Prior to joining the World Bank, Karuna worked at consulting firms such as IHS Markit, and Sandler, Travis and Rosenberg on trade policy. In India, she kicked off her career producing CNBC’s prime time news programming and started a social enterprise which produced organic fertilizer to pay for the upkeep of an animal shelter. Karuna has an MS in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, and a certificate in Artificial Intelligence and Business Strategy from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
