Leslie Womack

Leslie Womack, an experienced sales director, is driven by building lasting relationships. As a Director of Sales at the historic Mayflower Park hotel, Leslie’s responsibilities include serving as a member of the executive team; leading the sales team while maintaining a customer base and business development.

With over 25 years in the tourism industry, Leslie has held leadership roles for various tourism entities. She is particularly fond of U.S. national parks and has worked in three different national parks. Her various roles have taken her all over the world. If you ask Leslie why she has spent so many years in the travel industry she will tell you that travel has the ability to break down barriers, realize that we are global citizens and have an appreciation of where we live.

Leslie earned her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish from Fisk University, and Master’s degree in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh.

Through her participation with the World Affairs Council, Leslie is passionate about hosting international visitors for dinner parties and students for homestays. In her free time, in addition to traveling, Leslie loves to listen to music, especially jazz, and mentor young people with an interest in going into the tourism industry.
