Manmeet Dhami

Manmeet is an attorney with Stoel Rives LLP whose practice is focused on corporate transactions and health care regulatory matters. Manmeet is particularly interested in topics related to human rights and access to education and health care. Her undergraduate studies were concentrated on international studies, with an emphasis on international law and immigration. While studying at the Irish Center for Human Rights, she became interested in Article 2 of the International Covenant on Economic, Social, and Cultural Rights (ICESCR) and later co-authored a publication exploring the three obligations under Article 2 - utilizing maximum available resources, progressively realizing rights, and implementing rights without discrimination.

Prior to law school, Manmeet taught sixth grade reading as a Teach for America corps member and worked with a number of local education nonprofits, including the University of Washington Dream Project, Democrats for Education Reform, and Washington State GEAR UP.
