Max Cheung

Max Cheung is an International Studies major at the University of Washington, Jackson School of International Studies. Having lived in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UK, his upbringing was deeply rooted with an international identity. His desire to learn and gain insight on Seattle's global platform has led him towards becoming an intern with the World Affairs Council. He is eager to advance the Council's mission – especially to steward in-depth engagement with the critical foreign policy topics and issues facing Seattle.

Max has a deep interest in foreign policy. Through the World Affairs Council, he wants to further his skills and passion to achieve his dream of becoming a Foreign Service Officer in Singapore — where he will have the opportunity to make a positive impact at a global level. In his free time, his hobbies include setting new high scores on Tetris, watching anime with his roommates, and fishing in Seattle’s best lakes.
