Nicole Jennings
Nicole Jennings is a reporter and talk show contributor for KIRO Radio and MyNorthwest.com, dissecting complex Puget Sound issues from the safety of women to the recovery of the orcas for listeners and readers. Previously, she did investigative reporting as a journalist for several newspapers under Sound Publishing, during which time she examined topics such as the opioid crisis, development versus natural and historic preservation, and government efficiency. Nicole spent eight months teaching English in Salzburg, Austria on a Fulbright fellowship, an experience that fostered her love of travel, experiencing other cultures, and meeting people from around the world. She was educated at Western Washington University, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and minors in German and French, in addition to completing the Honors Program. The highlight of college was a semester abroad -- also in Salzburg -- during which time she performed in the Salzburg University Choir and visited every museum she could.
