Preston Taylor

Preston started his professional career working as a policy and political aide for a Silicon Valley legislator during the state's electricity crisis, the burst of the dot com bubble, subsequent state budget deficits, the first state gubernatorial recall and the Schwarzenneger administration. After learning a ton in that role, Preston worked and lived internationally, earned his MBA and moved into product management for global technology companies. Preston moved to Seattle in July, 2017 where he was able to bring together his experience in public service and technology development to lead the product management team at Socrata, now Tyler Technologies' Data & Insights Division. Socrata / Tyler provide the tools and consulting services to help government leaders better leverage their data to improve program and community outcomes.
