Teresa Perez
Teresa is an economist with PayScale, the leading provider of SaaS-based compensation data, analytics and software. At PayScale she has conducted research that has been featured in publications such as Harvard Business Review, The New York Times, and The Financial Times. She has led the establishment of PayScale’s data blog that regularly produces in-depth research on the US labor market, particularly on issues surrounding pay equity.
Prior to joining PayScale, Teresa worked at Institutional Shareholder Services, the International Monetary Fund, and the Institute of International Finance where she principally conducted research on Latin America.
Teresa holds an M.S. in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.A. in mathematics and economics from Bryn Mawr College. When she is not crunching the numbers, Teresa enjoys traveling abroad and hiking in the glorious Pacific Northwest.
