Waverly Dolaman
Waverly Dolaman is a Sr. Program Manager in the Global Programs team at Amazon’s Kindle Direct Publishing, where she is responsible for helping authors around the world realize their dreams of publishing a book and earn a living from self-publishing. Prior to Amazon, Waverly worked as an expatriate in Seoul, Korea, in the Samsung Global Strategy Group. In this role, she helped to create business strategies for Samsung subsidiaries around the globe, including assignments in Vienna, Austria, and Istanbul, Turkey.
Waverly holds an M.B.A. in General Management from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where she participated in short-term, intensive business study programs in Beijing and Madrid. She also has an M.A. in Liberal Studies in International Affairs from Georgetown University, with a focus on Asia and the Middle East and a master’s thesis on migrant labor rights in the Middle East. In addition, she has a B.A. in History with honors from Yale University, where she was a scholar-athlete on the Yale Varsity Women’s Gymnastics Team.
